Lions Roar in Farewell to the Class of 2017

On May 7th, 2017 Abraham Lincoln High school held their commencement ceremony at the Rose Garden. Parents, relatives, friends, neighbors and faculty members and board members from the San Jose Unified School District all gathered to celebrate the students who have achieved and worked so hard to complete their four years of high school. Hundreds of families were seated all across the lawn of the Rose Garden, cheering on their son and daughters as they crossed the stage. The weather was perfect, not too hot nor too cold, and, as the years before were hot weather and has been an issue, this year it was a little different.

Mr. Hewitson, the principal of Lincoln high school, had the previlige to announce the following valedictorians: Gabriela Carillo Meza, Dimitri Charitou, Nava Eilenberg, Galilea Guerrero, Emma Heinrichs, Katherine Henriques, and Lincoln Lion Tale’s own managing editor, Phuc Chau Le. Graduation Video 1 is Mr. Hewitson congratulating these exemplary students.
