Joe Garza III, Reporter

The Lions defeated the Saints 16-14 to move themselves into a four way tie for 1st in the league. #23 Gabe Florez, the running back for Lincoln,  however was unsatisfied with the performance, “We need to come out stronger offensively, our passing game needs to be improved a lot…”, after being asked how the team played in their win against the Santa Teresa Saints. Lions were scoreless in the first quarter against the Saints. Running game was successful for Lions as they were able to gain a total of 310 rushing yards, but failed to gain any passing yards throughout the game.

“We need to come out how we do every game with the same confidence and  play strong all game long” said #23 Gabe, when told Lincoln was in a four way tied for 1st in the league.
