Mrs. Jessica Romo starting the 2018-2019 school year. This is Mrs. Romo’s 6th year as a teacher, and her first year here at Lincoln (Anjanai Vallez / Lincoln Lion Tales)

Meet Jessica Romo, a new math teacher at Lincoln. Mrs. Romo recently moved to San Jose from Los Banos, California with her husband.

In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends in Los Banos.

This school year is Mrs.Romo’s sixth year teaching; she is the oldest in her family and was always helping her younger siblings and cousins which made her want to become a teacher. “It’s always fun to see them get the math,” she said. In college she double majored in Math and Spanish at CSU Stanislaus.

When asked what her words to live by were she said “You get in a couple situations where you’re going to want to give up, not just in math but life in general and it’s the ‘Never Give Up’  thing that keeps us moving forward.”
