There will also be a preview of the musical this Friday, March 28 throughout the school day. Be sure to ask your teachers if you can attend!

Here’s a rundown of the musical:

“Spamalot” tells the legendary tale of King Arthur’s quest to find the Holy Grail. However, a bit different from the true story, this hilarious musical features such oddities as a line of beautiful dancing girls, a flatulent Frenchmen and killer rabbits. Outside there is plague with a 50% chance of pestilence and famine. Throughout the show Arthur, traveling with his servant Patsy, recruits several knights to accompany him on his quest (Stageagent.com).

It’s a comedy that no one wants to miss, the fall musical “Barnum” was loved by all audiences so don’t miss this performance!

Junior actor, Alexis Maiwald said, “I am looking forward to this musical because it is hilarious and there are so many new things- dances, songs, and costumes; however, it has been extremely stressful.” She added, “being here until 10 or later makes it much more difficult to complete school work but it is totally worth it.”

Technician Maria De La Cruz told Lion Tales that she was also looking forward to the show.

“It’s actually a bittersweet feeling; it’s a hilarious show and working musicals is always fun however this is the seniors’ last show and they will be dearly missed,” said De La Cruz. She continued to tell us that they have been prepping for the show with a lot of work and have created a nice set. She also recommends for everyone to come and watch.

Be sure to come watch this funny musical; you don’t want to miss the last musical of the school year.
