The Video Music Awards, or VMAs for short, on MTV were one of the most popular topics in all of 2013. A beautiful moment where celebrities starred and performed on stage, but there was also something on the VMAs that was shocking and embarrassing. Miley Cyrus, the 20-year-old singer and former Hannah Montana star, shocked everyone when she performed her single, “We Can’t Stop” and when she was grinding on Robin Thicke on his hit, “Blurred Lines.” Her performance sparked negative reactions from other celebrities and people. She apparently did sexual things in her performances that many celebrities thought was porn and should not be on stage. Even the children were advised not to see that.
