Football Recap: Lincoln Victorious Over Willow Glen

Here’s a recap of Lincoln vs Willow Glen football game on Friday September 25, 2015.

Lincoln Pep Band performing their first performance of the year before varsity starts.

Chamber choir sings the national anthem before the first quarter of the varsity football game.

#2 Esteban Mosqueda with a big hit in the first and gets a first down for Lincoln.

Lincoln fumbles the ball in the middle of the first quarter and caused Willow Glen to retrieve the ball.

With 3:44 left in the 1st, Willow Glen turned over the ball giving Lincoln an advantage to score.

#2 Esteban Mosqueda with a long run giving Lincoln a first down and a chance to score.

As Lincoln punts the ball deep towards the end zone ready to defend those Rams.

Willow Glen couldn’t keep possession of the ball and turned it over to Lincoln giving the Lions possession of the ball.

As Lincoln tried to score Willow Glen intercepted the ball  and ran the ball to 15 yard line, almost getting a touchdown.

Willow Glen goes for the field goal but misses by a long shot with score still at 0-0.

#24 Robert Najar goes for a catch and gets Lincoln a first down leaving them a chance to score.

#12 Aldin Besirevic goes for a long run and gets a touchdown for Lincoln making the score 6-0. Lincoln in the lead!!

Time is ticking down for those Lincoln Lions in the first quarter with the clock set at 4:58.

#12 Aldin Besirevic makes a touchdown again in the 1st making the score 12-0! Lincoln then punts the ball to Willow Glen and lands on the 20 yard line giving them a first down.

#9 on Willow Glen team makes an outstanding play but couldn’t get a first down making them do a punt return.

#15 Anastacio Prado goes for a long run a catches a great throw giving Lincoln a first down.

#24 Robert Najar scores a touchdown for Lincoln with only 40 secs left in the 1st quarter! Lincoln taking the lead  20-0!

As the 1st quarter comes to an end Lincoln Lions lead with a score of 20-0!

Lincoln cheerleaders perform an amazing dance routine in the middle of half time.

Along with our Lincoln Pep Band performs an outstanding performance during the last few mins of half time.

Start of the 3rd quarter the clock set at 9:23 Lincoln still in the lead 20-0.

Touchdown Lincoln Lions!!  As the Lions in the lead  with the score 26-0.

Still in the 3rd quarter clock set at 6:56 Lions kicking off to Willow Glen.

Willow Glen passes the ball and gets tackled by #6 Julius Taamai stopping them to get a first down.

Willow Glen attempts to make a field goal and makes it the field goal, making the score 20-6.

As Robert Zamora passes to #12, us Lions gain a first down having  a chance to score.

The Lions turned the ball over, and Willow Glen received the ball with the clock set at 3:39 in the 3rd quarter.

Starting in the 4th quarter, with the clock set at 11:53, the score was 26-6.

Lions get another touchdown leading by a long shot with a score of 32-6.

Robert Najar #24 makes a long run catch and heads towards the end zone making the score 39-6!

As the 4th quarter came to an end, the Lincoln Lions ended with a huge victory of 39-6!
