3/2 Varsity Baseball pre-season game vs St. Lawrence
On March, 3, 2016 the boys Varsity Baseball team faced off against SLA (Saint Lawrence Academy) in a non-conference game. Starting on the mound was #5 Kyle Ochoa and catching was #4 Robert Najar. Lincoln took the lead scoring two runs at the end of the first inning. The Lions carry on having great offensive plays hitting the ball well and using the whole field. Hitting the ball around the field Lincoln puts runners into scoring position in the third inning. By the end of the third inning the score was 8-1. But with outstanding offense comes outstanding defense as our lions hold off SLA to only one run. With a pitching switch mid game to #16 Ernesto Fernandez who shut out the game letting no more runs score. By the fourth inning Lincoln scores four more runs with an big home run from #17 Robert Zamora. Lincoln concludes the game winning 14-1 with a great start to kick off the pre-season.
