klm vLincoln High School JV and Varsity Football team both have  a record of 3-0. On September 23, Lincoln’s JV team won against Willow Glen High School with a score of 32-14 and the Varsity team won against Willow Glen with a score of 45-14. I spoke to two of the players on the football team, David and Aidan.

When I asked David if he could share some thoughts on the game, he said, “Don’t let anyone tell you, ‘you can’t do that, you can’t be this’. You have to strive for greatness, you have to work hard for what you want to accomplish in life.  Don’t let anyone tell you, you can’t be want you want to be—prove them wrong.”

When asked if they think they could go all the way without losing, JV team member Aidan Lopez said that “It will be hard, [but] you just got to believe.”
