The lady lions water polo team had their first CCS game at Homestead High School at 7pm on Tuesday 11/01/16. The team took a 7-3 win against the Mustangs.

After finishing off a great season the girl’s water polo team made CCS. Coach Macko admits, “I’m excited and proud of their hard work paying off and being able to beat key opponents.”

Jena Refuerzo a junior on the water polo team said,”We were all super happy and excited because last year we had lost the first game in CCS. Our season had ended, but now we get to move on!”

They will advance to the next round and play on Thursday, 11/03/16 at 7pm at Mountain View high school against Woodside high school.

Coach Macko said, “Many teams work hard and don’t get to see the results, so you have to enjoy it when you do.”
