Badminton Recap: Lincoln vs. Yerba Buena
On Thursday, March 21, the Lincoln Lions Badminton team faced off against the Yerba Buena Warriors inside Lincoln’s Main Gym.
Both Lions and Warriors were ready for the match and also ready to have fun.
Each player on each team has their own separate game. It’s either a 1 v. 1 or a 2 v.2 game.
The Warriors took a victory over the Lions. The way your team wins is as soon as each badminton player has had their match, they tally up all points until one side has scored 21 points.
Lincoln lost 2-13 as a team, but, individually, Lincoln’s varsity mixed doubles 1 pair, Andrew Nguyen and Vivian Le, varsity boys doubles 2, and Tammy Lee , Angel Madero won their matches.
The Lincoln Lions have a record of 3-2 in the West Valley Division of the Blossom Valley Athletic League and we wish them the best of luck in their next match.
