2 weeks ago, the Anaheim Ducks got bumped out of first place in the Pacific Division and were replaced by the Sharks. The Sharks were in the lead for less than 2 weeks before the Anaheim Ducks took back 1st place in a victory over the Sharks. This victory took place on April 9th. The Ducks simply dominated the Sharks in the second period by scoring 3 goals, winning the game with a 5-2 score.

Some key players in the game were Patrick Maroon of the Ducks who scored 2 goals throughout the game, Corey Perry who scored 1 goal, and Matt Beleskey, who also scored for the Ducks as they pushed one point ahead of St. Louis for the overall lead in the Western Conference, to earn the first back-to-back division titles in franchise history. Jason Demers and Logan Couture scored the only 2 goals for the Sharks, scoring 1 goal in the 1st period and another in the 2nd.

The Sharks’ next game takes place April 11 and they will be playing the Colorado Avalanche. Be sure to watch their game and show your Sharks spirit!
