You Just Got Served: Women’s Tennis

Lincoln’s women’s tennis team will be returning to the courts with rackets in their hands and hopes to reach CCS this season.

The team will start off the season aiming for victory with their first match against Overfelt. The match is on Tuesday, Sept. 9 and will begin at 3:15 at Overfelt.

As for the Lions’ first home game, the team will hit the Lincoln courts on Tuesday, Sept. 15 at 3:15, against Oak Grove. Be sure to come out and support the team.

Athletic Director Kevin Collins said, “[I] expect a good season due to the amount of people; more people joined this year than last year.’’

Sophomore Reyna Vargas joined the tennis team this year and said, “I am very excited to play tennis this year.”

This year is sure to be a good one for Lincoln’s women’s tennis team!
