Katarina Bellmonte is 16 and the youngest in her family. She is a proud Junior at Abraham Lincoln High-School. She loves many things such as acting, reading, writing, singing & songwriting, drawing, videography, watching hockey games, photography, and creating new or improved fashion ideas for clothing. Katarina is from San Jose, however, she is a mix of Iranian, Caucasian and Italian. She doesn't do many awesome things unfortunately because of a constant work flow, but she tries as much as possible to be adventurous. However, she tends to avoid eating sea food due to a bad experience of trying to eat squid. She chose journalism because writing has always been a passion of hers and especially what she turns to in tough times. She hopes to have a positive learning experience in this class and prepare herself for the real world of writing. She dreams to pursue writing as a career and write young adult fictional books.
