FOOD: Do You Want to Surprise Your Mom This Weekend?

Do you have extra time over the weekend? Or would you like to ditch your usual lazy weekend schedule when you sleep in until 12 am, and wake up early to surprise you family with an elegant and healthy breakfast! Or lunch perhaps?

Many people like to eat, but not that many quite like to make the food. I know at first at seems very much slow, monotonic and tiring process. But trust me on this, once you start doing it, it will seem like you are creating a peace of art. Plus next time its your parents or friends birthday, or you want to make a surprise for your partner, make food for a party, or even feed yourself, you will know how to cook a thing or two.

Here is a list of fast and easy to make foods I have discovered and I think you should give it a try!

1) Chilaquiles

Chilaquiles is a traditional Mexican breakfast dish that typically consists of fried tortilla chips coated in a green or red sauce, layered with scrambled eggs and chorizo, and baked with cheese on top, often topped with a spicy tomato sauce. (Here is the Recipe!)

2) Creamy skillet Tortellini w/ sweet potato & spinach

Skillet Tortellini has an Italian background. Tortellini is basically small circles of rolled and folded dough with a filling. Many describe it as one of the most renowned members of the pasta family, in Italy. Skillet Tortellini is just as simple as a combination of the Tortellini pasta with different vegetables, all cooked in a skillet. What is great about it is the fact that there is a big room for creativity, since you could really mix up different vegetables, according to your taste. (Here is the Recipe!)

3) Kung Pao Chicken & Broccoli

This highly addictive stir fried chicken, is a popular Chinese food. It is covered in a unique sauce with spicy, sweet, and sour tastes all in one. Usually when preparing this dish, the cooks avoid adding too much vegetables, as it gets in the way of the taste of Kung Pao Chicken. This classic dish of the Sichuan cuisine originated in the Sichuan province and is sad to be named after Ding Baozhen, Qing dynasty official. (Here is the Recipe!)

4) Shrimp and Spinach pasta

You know that pasta dish they usually serve in restaurants, with shrimp, well now you will get to make one for yourself or your family, any time you want to. Just boil some water, throw in some shrimp, pasta and salt, add some greens, maybe even tomato sauce or cream sauce, and voila, your elegant shrimp pasta dinner is ready! 5)Broiled Buffalo Wings

Broiled Buffalo Wings is one of the most famous on list of United States cuisine. Typically the wingette or drumette of a chicken that is covered in a specific hot sauce. It is usually deep fried, but many people like bake it instead, and according to your preference could be breaded or unbreaded. 6) Homemade French Fries with a twist

Are you chips lover, and do you like French fries. You know sometimes when you buy french fries or chips and the package is half empty, and you get disappointed, because you paid a considerable amount. Or when you just want French fries but you are too lazy to go buy them, and they dont sell them in stores. Well this is your chance to make healthier fries and enjoy them whenever you want. This fries come with a twist of sesame seed, but of course if you wish you could just add salt, bake and your fries are ready to board the ship to your stomach. (Here is the recipe)
