Castulo’s colorful birdy. (Castulo Herrera/ for Lion Tales)

This week of pets is going to a stunning and colorful kind of pet, a sun parakeet, named Papaya. Belonging to Castulo Herrera, another Lincoln sophomore, Papaya likes to play with his other birds and likes to fly around the house when he is able to.

Papaya enjoys eating more than his other birds and watches TV with Castulo. Castulo chose Papaya because of his cool, colorful feathers! Papaya didn’t learn how to fly till he was months old. I don’t know alot about birds, but that sounds young for a pet bird.

Castulo talked about how well his birds get along, play with each other, and keep the cage clean. He convinced me to get a bird of my own, but I can’t. Perhaps you were looking into buying a bird, or if you have a bird and only a bird, and they so happen as to get sick…

Veterinarian places

Then you should visit this site For the Birds DMV . They provide hospital care, supplies for birds and you can purchase birds for a pet as well. Their website even post stories, but you’ll need to subscribe to them first via email to receive bird updates.
