March For Life

March For Life

San Francisco’s 10th annual March for Life took place on Saturday, January 25th. Hundreds of abortion opponents marched through downtown San Francisco to protest a procedure that was legalized 40 years ago.

The protesters chanted and carried their picket signs to City Hall. At City Hall, they rallied together and then eventually marched down Market Street.

A couple days prior to San Francisco’s March for Life, Washington held its own march on Wednesday, January 22nd. About 25,000 anti-abortion marchers gathered together in front of the U.S. Supreme Court for Washington’s 41st annual March for Life.

Last year, over twice as many people showed up to the event in Washington, but this year the extreme weather conditions intervened. The day before the march a snow storm hit Washington D.C. , therefore inches of snow covered covered the city. Nevertheless, the protesters marched in the 10° weather.
