The teachers who initiated the project, from left, Ms. Keily, Ms. Gurash, and Ms. Berryhill, introduce their students’ presentations.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. That’s what Lincoln freshmen learned through the course of their Project Based Learning assignments. The freshman class presented these cross-curricular projects on February 12, first during the school day for teachers and other students, and once again at 6:30 pm in Room 43, for parents and any interested community members.

The presentations focused on themes like gender roles, sexual orientation, race, perception, nature vs. nurture, age and youth, insecurity, and beauty. Each individual project was well-presented and professionally put together for the teachers and parents who came to see them.
