Weekends are usually spent with families sharing an evening together and spending quality time. An activity that most families can enjoy together is strolling through Viva Calle SJ Parks to Roses.The event consists of six miles of San Jose streets closed off to traffic for people to walk, skate, or bike around. This is the perfect opportunity to visit the Viva Calle SJ event and interact with your community. Viva Calle SJ offers a variety of food stands and performances throughout the route for the entire family to enjoy.
Viva Calle SJ will take place on Sunday September 22nd, 2019 from 10am to 3pm. The route will start at the Municipal Rose Garden and end at Backesto Park, and include a 5K run at 8am to 10am. This year each registration for the race will benefit The Lustgarten Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to the treatment, cure, and prevention of pancreatic cancer.
