Football Highlights: Lincoln Vs. Silver Creek

Last Friday August 25th Lincoln played their first pre-season game against Silver Creek High School. Lincoln took the First win of the preseason but it wasn’t an easy game. The Silver Creek Raiders put up a huge fight and were the first to put numbers on the score board. The score was then 0-13. A little after that play during the second quarter the Lincoln Lions were able to make a field goal and made the score  7-13.

 In the third quarter the Lions made an out standing play and were able to make a touchdown making which made the score 13-13 and tying up with the Silver Creek Raiders!

The start of the fourth quarter the Lions weren’t giving up and scored a touchdown giving the Lions a seven point lead and the score of 20-13!

The Lions were on fire that night and weren’t done, in the middle of the fourth quarter, the Lions made another touchdown changing the score to 26-13, giving them a winning advantage.

The Silver Creek Raiders weren’t giving up and were able to score giving the score 26-20.

The Lions were still up and hoping they will get their first win of the preseason. As the game was coming to an end the Lions wanted to finish with a bang and manged to squeeze one last touchdown before the time ran out.The Lions put up a huge fight and ended that night with a huge win and with the score of  33-20.
